Stress significantly impacts physical and mental health, necessitating effective interventions to enhance coping mechanisms. Health education and counselling are pivotal in equipping individuals with knowledge and personalized strategies to manage stress. This paper explores the theoretical underpinnings, empirical evidence, and practical applications of these interventions. Health education promotes awareness and skills, while counselling provides tailored support to address individual stressors. Integrated approaches combining both methods show promise in reducing stress and fostering resilience. Challenges, recommendations, and future directions are discussed, supported by relevant literature.
